Directions & Travel Information
If you are travelling by car to Achill Island, head towards Castlebar or Westport, then follow the road signs for Newport, take the N59 to Mulranny then follow the R319 towards Achill Sound. When on the island keep travelleing through Achill Sound on the R319 towards Keel ( "an caol" ). About 2 kms before Keel, the Golf course can be seen on the left hand side of the Sandybanks. There is a small entrance driveway on the left hand side of the main road which leads to the club house carpark. For further direction use the AA Route Planner.
County Mayo is served year round by flights into Ireland West Airport Knock. Check with Knock Airport website for latest scheduled services. The airport is about 114ms from Achill and drive time is roughly 1.5 hours.
