Welcome to the Achill Rovers 2011 Golf Classic AM-AM Tournament
 
 

The second Achill Rovers Golf Classic will be a 18 hole Stableford competition for amateurs, held over the bank holiday weekend of the 4th & 5th June 2011. The tournament run by Achill Rovers Football Club, will be held at Achill Golf Club's challenging nine-hole links on the Keel sandy banks of Achill Island.

All entrants will enjoy the beautiful location of this course which is situated on Achill Island, Ireland's largest Atlantic Island. The 9 hole links course is set in spectacular Atlantic ocean scenery, bounded by the long Tramore Strand and overlooked by the spectaular mountain of Slievemore and majestic Minaun Cliffs.

Apart from the competition and scenery on course, there will be plenty to keep you occupied off course as Achill gears up for it's summer tourist season. The Achill Rovers Golf Classic is being run on a Bank holiday weekend so there will be plenty of other activities available as well as fine dining, and quality pubs,

So with keen competition on the course and plenty of craic off the course, the Achill Rovers Golf Classic is the competition to be in this June Bank Holiday.
